Our "Ivory" celluloid is one of the most attractive and convincing imitation ivories we have ever seen, old or new.  It has the warmth and slightly oily feel of genuine ivory, and its internal crisscross graining is frighteningly close to the real thing.  It is normally supplied cut with the grain; cut cross-grain, the patterning becomes extremely lively, as seen in the piece below.
